My Stay Tuned For Danger isn't working! What I do is I put in the disc and the install engine pops up. Everything goes fine, and it installs normally for a while. Then, when it reaches 100% on the install progress bar thingy, it says that it needs to close. I tried this several times and it just wouldn't let me play. I'm not even sure if it gets fully installed before it "has to close". If it helps any, my computer (a laptop) is an XP. I would appreciate it a ton if someone would like to help! Thanks!

Try completely removing any files from the game from your computer first. Clear the recycle bin of anything that's related to the game. Then install it.

Also, if you removed it last time you played, some files could have gotten mixed up.

After you installed the game do you get icons for the game? If so try right-clicking the game icon, select properties, and then hit the "Compatibility" Tab Check the Run program in (check mark box) and select Windows 98 as STFD was an older ND game. Hopefully that works!

Oh gosh sorry, but it wouldn't even give me an icon! Thanks for trying to help though. Any other suggestions?

I've had this problem before.

When prompted, select "Do not Install DirectX". This should clear up the problem.

When I install ND games, I never install DirectX. So I don't think this is the source of the problem, but thanks so much for trying to help!

Anything else?
