......................MyCatTilly Presents,
One of my all time favorites and the very first ND game I ever finished. Just a little MyCatTilly trivia for you
Plot
Nancy receives a letter from her friend Sally, who just bought a run down house on secluded Moon Lake. She won't tell you what’s wrong but something...strange is going on. When you arrive at the house, Sally has already fled in terror and has left behind a note saying "I just couldn't bare to spend another night in that house" and then -- the ghost dogs attack!
I may be a bit biased but I adore the plot of this game. It's spooky (but not too spooky), thrilling, exciting and similar to TRT in that you learn a little history along the way. To be more precise, the 1920s, prohibition and gangsters.
It gets 10/10

Graphics and Setting
The graphics in this game are pretty much on par with the previous release, SSH.
You start off exploring Sally's house, the local store, the ranger station, the woods, and *gulp* the cemetery! As the game progresses, you get to snoop around even more places.
I give it 9/10

Puzzles
For me, this game had the perfect balance of puzzles. There were little ones, there were big ones. Some led you to secret places, others were life-and-death. They required you to think without you wanting to pull out you hair. Very well done :)
I give them 10/10

Characters
Honestly, there have been more exciting characters than those that reside at Moon Lake. Only one of them has a strong back story, but they all have defined personalities and a purpose. There are some classic quotes you may have seen round the boards. Be sure to look out for those.
I give it 6.5/10

Ending *Spoiler Free*
I really like this ending. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: a good ending requires you to think fast and move fast. GDML fits right into that formula. I do, however, wish that the culprit was a little harder to guess. It's not obvious but it's not shocking either.
I give it 9.5/10

Overall
If you can't tell, I love this game. I don't even know what else to say, except try it out!
Overall score: 9.7/10
Creepiness (10 equals terrifying): 4/10
Difficulty (10 equals hair pulling): 6/10
"Should I buy this game?"
There isn't a single ND that I wouldn't recommend. If you read anything from above, you know that I love this game. However if you end up not liking it, don't let that stop you from trying other ND games because there's a lot of variety.
Happy Gaming!
