Before I start, I would like to say how great it is to be back on the boards after an...extended break. I did not have much time to come on here for a while. Anyway, I hope your year was good. Now here's my review.

plot: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Nancy flies out to Greece to help Melina, owner of a Greek museum. The museum's new exhibit is opening, and there's trouble brewing. Pieces for the collection have gone missing, and Melina needs your help tracking them down before opening night.
The plot was very interesting, as it was fairly original and is not recycled like most of the game plots have.
characters: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
All of the characters were very different, realistic, and relatable. An antisocial man who's absorbed in his work, a struggling artist with stage a fright, a self-absorbed man with a dark background, and a perfectionist who's close to her big break. All of them were very unique and not robotic copies of each other.
puzzles: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The first half was not very reliant on puzzles, but by the second half, it became overkill. You needed to solve puzzles to open things and to go places and to use things and it became old very quickly. The puzzles themselves weren't even difficult. There were just so many at one point that you didn't even feel like solving them yourself.
setting: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The setting was gorgeous! It was almost like literally visiting Greece, minus the annoying plane ride and jetlag. There were many small details, and in my opinion, small details make or break the experience. The pottery, amphitheater, and even the works in the museum itself were so detailed and realistic.
scare factor: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Okay so this section is very controversial. There was no scare factor whatsoever, which annoyed many people. I gave this section one star based purely on the fact that there was no scare factor, not that it was "bad." But I did personally like that there was no scare factor, because the basis of the game wasn't for it to be "scary" or "creepy."
snooping: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The game really didn't give you the opportunity to snoop at many times. When it did, the characters literally DID NOT come back. They didn't come back until you yourself left. So it's really not "snooping" since they kind of just left their stuff out (like oh look an expensive tablet let me leave it so someone can steal it) and never came back.
ending/culprit: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The ending and culprit were literally amazing. The culprit was so unexpected and how you caught them will truly be a show ;)))))
additional notes:
- this game has been one of my most favorites since CAP. recently I felt like the games were lacking something. but this game truly was enjoyable and was a large step in the right direction.
- i liked all the options we were given to explore that weren't necessarily about solving the game, but were like litte extras for your enjoyment.
overall: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The game overall was something I've missed for a long time, and I deeply enjoyed it. I truly can't wait for the next game, and I mean it this time.
