    7/10

I was unsure of this game before buying it. I read both very positive and very negative reviews, so I decided to try it for myself. I know see why the mixture of feelings. First off, the characters were okay. But, the culprit was the most obvious out of all the games I have played. I figured out who did it within the first 10 minutes. The plot, was so awesome and was such an interesting idea! I was so impressed with it! Until I got to the end and realized that it didn't answer all the important questions. Also, Charleena wasn't a big help. in fact, it would have been better to me to put a different character in it.

    8/10

Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon is definitely a top 10 game for me but it doesn't quite make my top 5, probably because the characters were underutilized. That said, I appreciated the abundance of characters and especially enjoyed Camille's backstory. I sensed that she was lonely and I really felt for her.

I enjoyed most of the puzzles but did have to look up some spoilers toward the end. The "logic" box that had to be opened up to obtain the duct tape was INFURIATJNG. I tried so hard to figure that one out but failed miserably. :(

In my humble opinion, this is one of Her Interactive's best releases. In my top 3 for sure (I've played the majority of them). Great plot, great characters, great ambience, great puzzles. Actually, I think the puzzles were easier on the whole than many Nancy Drew games, but they were enjoyable so that wasn't an issue.

    Great!

I loved the historical factor, the puzzles, the characters, taffy and burgers, snooping, the plot was overall intriguing, and the length was perfect. Learning about gemstones was cool too. 10/10

    Really great

I thought the gameplay was great. There weren't many mini games and puzzles, but the ones that were there were neat. The dolls were creepy! O_O But the characters were really neat, and of course it was awesome to have the Hardy Boys on the case, too!

I think one big difference in this game was that you were stuck on a train for such a large part of the game rather than changing locations like you can in most of the other games. In that, it was a little similar to Crystal Skull-- you mostly play in one location and only occasionally wander beyond those parameters. With Train, you really are in a tighter location (unlike Skull, where at at least that one location expands further that just a few rooms). Even though the map is smaller than normal, the detailing and characterizations are so great that I didn't really miss kayaking/taking the train/walking/everything else Nancy does to visit other locations in the other games. I really looked forward to this one when it was coming out and was so excited that it didn't disappoint! I want to replay it right now just talking about it. =)

I liked this game very much, it had good graphics and interesting characters. The only downfall would be it was somewhat short, I finished it in one sitting, and it didn't have many mini games. Over all, I liked the setting and the storyline.

    Pros and Cons

    Pros:
-the train setting was very unique
-All the characters were so different
    -puzzles were fun ^_^
    -the music was great
    -nice background story
    -Tino Balducci
    -well-paced
    -kept my attention
    -suspenseful
-omgsh, the ending was EPIC XD
    -Frank and Joe

    Cons:
    -Fatima
    -mines were a little frustrating
    -Charleena Purcell

Despite being in a train for most of the game, there was actually a lot to explore, and lots of clues lying around. I think the reason this game won my heart was just the story. The main plot was great, and the background plot was fascinating! This game definitely deserves a solid 10!!

I liked the locations of the game. The being on the Train. And then getting off towards the end. It was refreshing.

I really did not like any of the characters, though. Except for the Hardy Boys. I really did not care for all of the suspects. And I really felt like Nancy was inconveniencing all of them throughout the game.

But I loved things like the Doll Puzzle. And the Dancing Puzzle. Those were super cute.

So. I gave it a six. The characters really killed it for me. T_T

I always forget how much I like this one until I play it again. But I think that's kind of the problem - this one is forgettable. I did like Fatima, and my friend and I got a huge laugh outta that when we were younger, but apart from that everything was just pretty blah. I gave it a 6.

I loved the idea of being on the train and learning pieces about Jake Hurley and his mine as you went along. I just love the games were you learn something about something. It really makes the games worth playing, in my opinion.

There really wasn't a lot of useless puzzles and such in this game, like there has been in the newer games, and I liked that. It didn't take away from the jest of the game.

I LOVED this game!! The train, plotline, and charcters were amazing and in-depth. It was soooooo cool to see the Hardy boys (Frank's voice was wierd I thought )!!! In my opinion it had the best ending of all the ND games that I've played so far. My one negative is that the game didn't take me long at all...I finished it in two days. However, that's all I can complain about!! (By the way, I thought the ghost-hunter's fro was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!)
