Jack in the Box

I did the Jack in the Box and I know the notes played are a significant tool. I went out to the

fountain with spider outside

and when I played the notes nothing happens. Not sure if I am missing a key part that maybe I forgot or maybe there is something I just did not get to that unlocks this part of puzzle. Not sure what I am missing and why it is not working. Help please.

If you got the right notes and played them correctly, then the puzzle should have reacted.

I actually figured it out. I wrote down the notes and did it multiple times with no results. So, when I went back and checked again. I missed one note so yes it would throw it all off track. But I managed to get it. Thanks
