Box under chair

I was stuck with nothing to do and I saw something weird under the chair at Jake's table in the library. Problem being I can't get to it. I can click on the table, but not the chair. Help please. Spoilers welcome, though I doubt they're needed, I'm probably just dumb. =/

found all of Jake's messages, I believe there are 18 of them. They will help you figure out the box under the chair

map drawer and seen Jake's letter puzzle?

It's referring to the

library catalogue - which is on the computers in the reference section.

As for the codes, have you looked in the diner for them as well? Jake worked there, so he had plenty of opportunity to scatter them about. What about the teacher's lounge?

Thanks for the tip about the diner, I found 3 there, which brings my total up to 15. However, I can't get into the teacher's lounge with the hall monitor there. How can I get her to leave?

Note that as hall monitor, Connie is responsible for turning off the vending machine alarms when they go off. See if you can use this information to help get her to leave her spot.

Is there something I have to see to be able to open the book? I've tried clicking on and around it, but the only things I can look at are the box and the periodic table.

You may have to look at the clue that tells you to look in that book first. This can be found

on the eye chart near the gym. Try zooming in on the eye chart.

See if that works.

It did, thank you!! But now I can't find the matchbox. I looked around the diner after realizing it wasn't where it was supposed to be, I even looked around the school, but I can't find it. Any ideas?
