Cant call Bess

Hey all,

I've played this game numerous times and have recently run into an unfortunate glitch in the game. Despite making significant progress, I always get Bess' answering machine even though I got the note by the phone saying to call her. Same for George. I can only talk to Ned. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I found that happens to me through the whole game. Usually just one of them will have a new conversation in each area of the game.

Yeah it ended up being resolved after I called George and she finally picked up. Super weird, but I guess that should be expected with earlier games. You never quite know how certain events are triggered in the game.
