tracking device

okay , when your sopose to get the tracking device in the costume store ; but your two late and it blows up , were do you get it after , i thought it said to go back but everytime i do i can only buy stuff ;?
where / how do i get it now .?

there is a message in your tracker that shows its new location

How I do that is I save the game before I go into anyplace with the tracking device, go inside, see it explode so I know where it is and go back to my saved game and play it again so I can get the darn thing.
