Dancing Nancy

I am at the part in the game where Nancy is at Club Micio and she is going to have the dance audition.

I have two questions regarding this:

1. How do I go about approaching this?

2. Is it essential to the game that Nancy does this audition?

Look at the manual and listen to the sounds. Yes you need to pass the auditition but other than that you don't need to do it.

1. Read the dance instructions that should be in the room before you actually go out to try-out. Get familiar with the cues and don't be afraid to dance a few times because practice makes perfect. Each time you tryout, the easier it'll be once you get used to all the lights and color cues. 2. I believe it is necessary to be done in the game. It's best to do it sooner than later so you can also make money off of it as well.
