I'll make this pretty later...but for now.....
Plot: You, as Nancy Drew, go undercover at an all-girls boarding school to uncover who is sending mysterious and threatening notes, always signed "The Black Cat".
{my humble opinion} Amazing plot! Very deeply woven, so many different pieces, that all come together in the end. Amazing. Absoulutely amazing. One of my favorite plots in a long, long while.
Setting: Waverly Academy is an all-girls boarding school built originally in the 1800's Explore secret rooms, cellars, and the gorgeous interior of this beautiful school.
{my humble opinion} Wow. There was so much detail and thought put into this game's setting. You could even see the season's changing. Each of the four rooms was unique and decorated in one way or another. HeR really didn't rush through the setting and design in the least.
Characters:
Leela Yadav: The sportsy one of the five characters. Always wanting to beat you in a game, Leela was always a great person to turn to when you were frustrated or stuck. Unless of course you were frustrated and stuck trying to beat her at Air Hockey or Scram.
Izzy Romero: The 'popular' of the school. Most everyone is afraid of her, and she really doesn't like anyone back. She gets angered easily, but I greatly enjoyed her.
Mel Corablis: The goth girl of the school. Her cello playing can be heard all through the day, bu it never really gets annoying. No one really likes her, but she is perfectly content with that. Or so she says. Her room is my favorite, decorated in black and hot pink, just like her hair.
Rachel Hubbard: Always seems to be busy with some sort of work, and always seems to have something Nancy can do too. No one likes her, not even the 'weird kids', Mel and Corine. She always seems to forget she says things, or completely deny that she ever said anything.
Corine I-Forgot-Her-Last-Name:
Always trying to impress, Corine is very talkitive. She isn't happy with her one friend in Mel, and she is always wishing she was popular. But when Corine talks, boy does she talk! She always has paragraphs of speech it seems.
{my humble opinion} Loved all the different personalities of the characters. Each was unique and really unlike any I had seen in previous games. One thing I will say is that when one person had something to say, then basically everyone did. However the oppisite is also true, when one person didn't have anything to say, neither did anyone else. It did get frustrating when no one would talk, which was quite often.
Puzzles: They ranged it difficulty, and they were unlike any I have seen before. Some were very simple, some medium in difficulty, and some hard. Most of them most people could have done without spoilers or hints. They were fun and interesting.
{my humble opinion} The puzzles were pretty good. I probably could have done all of them without spoilers if I had the patience to spend more than two minutes on them. Thing is, I don't have that sort of patience. Overall, great, and nothing like ones in previous games.
Ending:
Who did it? Will it be a suprise to you or not?
{my humble opinion} This was probably the most disappointing part of the game. While it was a bit difficult to figure out, overall the ending looked like it was rushed through. It was very short and the culprit wasn't o difficult to break down. While I had no idea who-dunnit until a few minutes before the end, and it tied the game together well, I think there could have been a lot added.
Overall: I loved it! Definitely on my Top 5 list. I would totally reccomend this one! If you are deciding between this game and another newer one, this game has more 'bang for your buck', if you will. One of the best in a very. very, long time!

Snooping/Sneaking: From sneaking around in rooms to being up past your bedtime, this game is not short in this department. While there is much that could be added, this game had many more oppurtunities than the last few.
{my humble opinion}This game for sure had my heart pumping at some points! I loved all the sneaking around being done, and I was always afraid of being caught. It was great, though there was definitely more snooping that could have been added.
