Unofficial petition for SOS to be in the adventure series

The next game in the Nancy Drew dossier line is called "Ship of Shadows." In SOS, your stuck on a cruise ship, people are vanishing, there are ghostly lights, and faces in windows. This sounds like a very interesting plot and could very well be one of the best games. However, HER is choosing to make this a dossier game. The dossier line has loose story plots, you don't get to choose what you say, and the graphics are more like someone painted them than being done on a computer. The dossier games are shorter and, in my opinion, have less memorable areas and characters. The dossier line wouldn't do this really good sounding story justice. This is why I am starting a petition to turn SOS into a game in the adventure series. Please sign if you agree.

Eh, sure. That sounds rrreeeeeaaalllyyyy good and exciting. As a side note, I do own a Dossier game (did not like it, did not hate it) and agree that this plot line is too good to be a Dossier game.

Yes! Sign me up! I agree with everything and I don't really think that dossier games are meant for the experienced Nancy Drew gamer, and this storyline seems like the perfect one for an adventure game, I don't think that this game is meant for the dossier series!

I enjoy the Dossier games for different reasons than the Adventure games. The adventure games remain my favourites however. I want SOS to be produced, either as a Dossier game or as an Adventure game (althought I would love to see the Dossier games continued. I do agree that SOS sounds more suited to the adventure games format & think that maybe HER producing it as an adnventure game, may be the only way we'll get to see it released. Anyway, please sign me up as I really want to play SOS!

OMG sign me up definetly!! In my opinion, the dossiers are boring. The adventure series is WAY better. I would be sooo happy if this happened!!

I agree. When I got LCC, I was really disappointed. I thought it'll be like the adventure games, but it just had point-and-click. Sign me up!

I really hope HER considers this, even if it doesn't get many voters. Afterall, HER hasn't set a release date for SOS, so ther is still time.

Aww mann I'd love to see SOS as an Adventure Series Game! Of course, they might've started it for the Dossier Series already. They said it was put on the bench but we don't know if they started it before they put it on the bench. If not, if they didn't start it, the plot does seem really interesting for an Adventure Series Game. Maybe they'd have less difficulty with it in making it an Adventure Series game, too. Either way, it'd be a lot of fun as an adventure game.
