Petition for "Old Clues"

I don't know about you all, but I miss the the set up of investigating from the older games. I feel like in the older games, no matter what room/area you went to, there was tons of things to pick up and look through. Sometimes those things were unnecessary for the case but were just fun/gave you a deeper look into the character's life. For example, if there's a desk, you got to look through the drawers, check out everything on top of it. Or in a house you got to look at every picture frame on the shelves or look through photo albums, magazines, knick-knacks, etc. I miss getting to snoop through everything.

Let's try to get back that awesome feeling throughout the game that as Nancy, you literally find out as much as you possibly can through thorough snooping! Please sign my petition if you feel the same way

That is why I love a lot of the earlier games the most. Nancy Drew is known for being a snoop and finding out too much information. I'll sign it as well.

I agree! All of my favorite games are the older games. The ones where you can look at everything, no matter if it has anything to do with the culprit or not, and getting hints on the phone by talking to a friend, not on the side with a help button. Sign me up please!

Great point! A big part of being a detective is snooping through everyone's stuff and getting as much information as possible-it makes sense that we should have more of it! You also feel more like you're actually there, being able to pick up and investigate everything. Sign me up!

Sign me up! It makes it more realistic, rather than Nancy just happening to find a clue but instead going through everything, and maybe only one or two of those being a clue.

I completely agree. It always bothers me in games where Nancy overlooks a place where you could gather some great information, such as a drawer, or a cabinet, or the trash can. I love looking at everything that's available! You can definitely sign me up.
