Updated: Posting Game Info from Web sites, site names, and 'help' to other sites

When our Under-13 users (many of our members) join, they are required to get parental permission. So their parents know that they are visiting a safe place.

The only way we can enforce this safety is to NOT link or provide a guide or walkthrough to other locations on the web.

Resourceful sleuths will find these images with no help from you or me. Hopefully, they will do so with the knowledge and consent of their parents.

In any case, many of you have tried to work around this rule. We are sorry, but we will not be flexible when it comes to members trying to "work around" user safety.

Please remember this and post more responsibly. We understand being excited about the upcoming game. We are pretty psyched about it ourselves.

But not so excited that we're willing to bend the rules - rules in place for the safety of our members.

Posting Game Information from Websites

Hello gamers,

With the next few games coming out so soon we've discovered a lot of information from websites being posted. We know that you are all eager for the games and want to share the information about them with everyone. Unfortunately, the information that is on websites outside of Her Interactive is not allowed to be posted on this forum, or others for that matter. The reason is that it is copyrighted information, and may only be posted with the consent of those websites' administrators or publishers. Administration has made a notice about this:

Administrator's Note: This is copyrighted material, and can not be republished without the consent of the original publisher. We have removed this from this site for that reason. Please do not post it again.

A few of you may have noticed these notices in your posts. We apologize if this note was never officially told to you earlier. We'd now like to inform you of this rule. Now, you may discuss information that you've discovered outside of Her Interactive, but you cannot copy and paste the texts onto this forum.

If anyone has any questions about this, please ask them.
