Petition to plot the action ourselves!

My petition concerns the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books "Be a Detective"
"You plot the Action"
books. In these books you get to decide how the game should turn out by following the directions and turning to different pages for different things to happen.


Example: Nancy Drew gets captured and is taken to an old warehouse and locked up. Turn to pg 50 if you want Nancy to escape by herself or turn to pg 35 if you would like Frank and Joe to rescure her. If Frank and Joe rescues her it will place a spin on things and change the culprit/ending


I think this would make the games more interesting to play over and over and would be different than the regular adventure games which I want HeR to continue making.
HeR could also tie in the popular idea that we, as the consumers could choose wether we wanted to see certain characters such as Sonny Joon and Ned Nickerson or wether we would like to keep them in our heads looking a certain way.

I believe the games would be even shorter then, but it is a nice idea! I do wish they could have alternative endings at least so the games could be played differentely.

Ya.Im not saying they shouold take the place of the regular adventure games.Im saying make another series,like the dossier series except like the adventure series with alternate endings and we can really interact and have a say in the ending and what we, as Nancy does.The dossier games are shorter too but HeR could make these longer if they wanted too.I wouldnt want it to replace the good-old NancyDrew Adventure series but make a different aproach to games like the dossier series are still mysteries but they dont even compare to the adventure series!

yeah, your idea sounds cool but then you might know what happens at the end but it would also be cool to see a villain character return in one of the nancy drew games. But sign me up too.

Your right it would be alot of extra work for HeR but they could make one just once a year even and it wouldnt have to be long. Just something diff from the reg ND games for a switch up.I really dont like the dossier series at all.
